Once you have completed your criteria weighting survey, you can see your weights quickly and clearly. This tutorial will show you;

1) How to find your criteria weights

2) How to view a specific weighting scenario or survey

3) How to interpret the weighting chart

4) How to manually create a weighting "what if" scenario

1. HOW TO FIND YOUR CRITERIA WEIGHTS

Here's how to find criteria weights in the AHP Pro application.

2. HERE IS HOW TO NAVIGATE TO THE APPROPRIATE  WEIGHTING SCENARIO / SURVEY

When you first open up criteria weights, you'll see the "Default" weighting scenario. TransparentChoice lets you have multiple scenarios so that you can do "what if" analysis or see how the results would look if different groups of stakeholders were making the decision.

The default scenario simply assumes that criteria at the same level are equally weighted. This is not a particularly useful scenario, but it does mean that you can see results for your model even if you have not completed a weighting survey or created a manual scenario.

3. INTERPRETING YOUR CRITERIA WEIGHTS

4. MANUALLY CREATING SCENARIOS

Sometimes you want to manually define the weights for your model. This might be to do what-if analysis under different assumptions. For example, you might have one scenario for high oil prices and one for low oil prices. Another common use is, ahead of elections, to have one scenario for Party A winning and another scenario for Party B winning.

5. PROBLEMS SEEING WEIGHTS

Sometimes people run through a survey and then can't see the weights from that survey. This is usually because they have not entered a GROUP LEVEL judgement for each question.  If you haven't gone through question by question and assigned a GROUP LEVEL vote, then you can simply accept the average from within the survey meeting screen.
