TransparentChoice User Guide - Introduction

Our User Guide covers two key use cases

• Portfolio Prioritization for managing a backlog of competing Projects where resource is limited 
• Pick a Winner for choosing a process or vendor where you have to Pick One option from a list 

The majority of the set up process for these two applications is same, so we will use the standard Decision Science language of Alternatives to cover both Projects & Pick One options

 We’ll call out the key differences in our Deliver Results section

There is Product Terminology we’ll be using throughout this guide

Attributes are the Data Points that you will feed into your model – either to directly drive its outcome or as context for analysis of the results. These can loaded into the software or requested via Forms
Kanban is the ‘backbone’ of the process for compiling the data, managing gating processes and creating automated notifications. This is your landing page – we call it the Dashboard
Surveys are the mechanic for collecting opinions from multiple stakeholders - who we call Respondents
