Sometimes you want to have your colleagues answer questions in their own time. This could be because they are in different time zones, or because the survey is particularly long and you want people to complete it in bite-sized chunks. Whatever the reason, this article will show you how to do that. There are three steps.
1) Set up your survey
2) Fill in the survey
3) Review the survey / enter "group" votes.
STEP 1 - Set up your survey.
You set up a survey in the normal way. These links will show you how (depending on whether you're looking at prioritizing criteria or scoring alternatives).
Once you've got your survey set up, open up the survey and make sure it's STARTED
IMPORTANT: IF you have a meeting in progress (see below), click on the "Meeting in progress" button.
Now you can send out the meeting links to your participants, and when they join, they will be able to navigate through the survey themselves and fill it in independently.
STEP 2 - Fill in the survey
This article shows you how to navigate within your survey.
Your participants will be able to answer questions and navigate for themselves. If you are doing criteria weighting, they will see consistency scores for their votes. They can complete the survey in one sitting, or they can come back a few times.
STEP 3 - Review the survey / enter "group" votes.
IMPORTANT: You need to complete this step even if you don't actually have a meeting. This is where you tell TransparentChoice how to aggregate scores from all your participants. It cannot calculate a result without this step being completed.
You must enter a vote for each question FOR THE SURVEY AS A WHOLE. Follow these steps:
Navigate to your survey, then click on RUN MEETING
